The Chair of Clare’s Tourism Advisory Forum doesn’t expect challenges posed by the response to the Ukranian crisis to impact on the tourism season in this county.
A lack of hotel accommodation nationally has come under the spotlight after a Roscommon Senator spoke of being forced to sleep in his car due to a lack of availability in the capital, with the issue amplified further when the Kerry Hurling team reported the same problem.
Similar pressures are also being reported in tourist hotspots elsewhere.
However, Ennis hotelier Seán Lally expects a very successful tourism season here.
