Members of the public are being called on to join the Clare branch of the Samaritans.
The voluntary organisation are holding an information evening at their offices on the Kilrush Road on September 12th and 14th to recruit new members for the service.

The Ennis branch of the Samaritans answered over 40,995 calls to its phonelines last year, giving support to people who were in need of help.
Brendan Cunningham has volunteered for over 9 years and says it’s been a rewarding experience.
