Clare residents are being invited to share their views on a proposed Active Travel Scheme in Ennis.
Clare County Council has formally declared its intention to install pedestrian and cycle infrastructure along with traffic calming measures for the first phase of the Limerick and Clare Road Active Travel Scheme.
This phase will involve the construction of a 2.4 kilometre segregated cycle facility, raised pedestrian and cyclist crossing facilities, a signal-controlled junction, landscaping, signing, lining, removable bollards and modifications to footpaths and kerb lines.
The measures will be implemented on Clonroadbeg, Clon Road, St Flannan’s Drive and College View to St Flannan’s Roundabout, terminating 50 metres north of the Clareabbey Roundabout.
