An event will take place in Clare this weekend with the aim of raising vital funds for family carers.
Family Carers Ireland is holding a five-kilometre fundraising walk on Sunday in Lee’s Road in Ennis along with nine other locations nationwide.

All proceeds will go to the organisation for its operational costs as well as to fund its activities in Clare and beyond.
Carer Supports Manager for Family Carers Ireland, Fiona Hartigan, says they are very dependent on money raised from events such as the one taking place on Sunday.
