A Clare man volunteering in Ukraine says there’s no end in sight to the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Quin native Declan McEvoy is currently in the war torn state, and is en route to Kharkiv where he’ll be providing hot meals and humanitarian aid near the front lines as part of the Hell’s Kitchen group.

The war, which has been raging on since February 2022 has so far claimed over 350,000 lives, including 16,000 civillians.
Declan’s told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that it’s likely to continue for the forseeable future.
