New Ennis Chamber President Optimistic Crusheen Rail Stop Will Be Reopened During Tenure

The new Ennis Chamber President has expressed optimism that the Crusheen rail stop will be reopened during his time at the helm.

Owner of Holly’s Pharmacy on Abbey Street, Frank Holly, has been appointed as the new Chamber head, taking over from Diarmuid McMahon, who served as Chamber President for the past 18 months.

It’s also hoped a rail spur to Shannon Airport can be delivered along with offshore wind energy projects off Clare’s west coast.

Frank says installing connectivty north of the town will be a huge benefit to the Midwest region.
