A funding boost of almost €100,000 is set to provide vital literacy supports in Clare.
Over €95,000 has been allocated to Limerick and Clare by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science for literacy, numeracy, digital, and financial literacy needs initiatives.
Among these is a project run by the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board aimed at helping adults harness the benefit of artificial intelligence in their daily lives.
LCETB Regional Literacy Coordinator Tom Kent says the funding will support courses that can assist adults at various stages in their lives.
