Clare’s house prices continued to climb between January and March.
Daft.ie’s sales report for the first quarter of 2026, however, shows there’s been a significant reduction in the price of some properties in this county.
The average selling price of a newly built home in Clare came in at exactly €300,000 at the end of March.
Across the board, the mean figure reached as high as €481,000 for five-bed detached homes and as low as €182,000 for two-bed terraced homes, the price of which fell by over 14% in this county over the last year.
The biggest increase in Clare’s property portfolio came in the way of two-bedroom apartments, which rose by 15% to €203,000.
Four-bed terraced homes and three-bed semi-detached properties both saw price hikes of 9% climbing to €277,000 and €294.000 respectively.
According to Daft.ie, there were over 3,200 property transactions in Munster between January and March, with one-third of sales made up of newly built homes.
