Clare hauliers are seeking help from the government as they look to offset the impact of Brexit.
The Irish Road Haulage Association says the sector is facing a “grave and unprecedented” challenge and that there is a real risk to the viability of thousands of jobs.

They’re seeking a suite of supports including increased rebates, a 10 million eruo Brexit contingency fund and no additional State-imposed costs for the next three years.
Ennis haulier Eugene Drennan is a member of the IRHA’s Management Council, and he says the industry needs help.
