A Clare family carer is criticising delays to emergency services caused by fuel protest blockages, warning that even a slight hold up could be fatal.
It comes as HSE Midwest has outlined its concerns connected to the protests including ambulances struggling to navigate road blockages along with delays to staff travel times.

Alexandra Knox’s daughter has epilepsy and suffers from chronic seizures, often requiring multiple doses of Midazolam, which can only be provided by medical staff.
She says in the event of a medical emergency, every second is vital.
