Clare Samaritans is urging anyone who’s struggling to reach out for help.
Today is Samartitan’s National Awareness Day and the Ennis and Clare branches are highlighting the life-saving emotional support its volunteers provide on a 24/7 basis.

Countrywide, Samaritans receive a call every 61 seconds and are expected to field 1,500 calls today.
Last year, Ennis and Clare Samaritans fielded 17,000 calls and the organisation’s Director Pat White, believes human interaction is crucial to maintaining mental wellbeing.
