Clare Councillors meet today to decide on their spending plan for next year.

The Council's annual budget meeting is expected to see elected representatives sign off on the local authority's budget for 2016, but could also see inter-party rows over the amount of government funding provided to it.
Much focus will likely be on the issue of rates, after Ennis businesses stated that jobs would be put at risk if the commercial charge was to rise for retailers in the town.
Further clarification could also come on the amount of money to be made available by the Council to support the staging of Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Ennis next year
