There are claims the switch in the hour between summer and winter time can have dire consequences for people's health. 

Clocks are due to go back this weekend.

Some MEP's are trying to organise a petition in the European Parliament to get the EU Commission to stop the switch, including Ireland South Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly.
