It’s claimed a proliferation of potholes and poorly surfaced roads in a South-East Clare community is causing severely dangerous situations.
Meelick residents have expressed concerns over sections of the Knockalisheen Road, which weren’t enhanced as part of the Limerick Northern Distributor Road project.

The local authority is being called upon to make emergency funding available for the route.
Ardnacrusha Fianna Fáil Councillor Rachel Hartigan says motorists are taking risks due to the dire condition of the road.
