It’s claimed residents of an Ennis housing estate are forced to isolate themselves in their homes due to traffic chaos.
It’s understood homeowners in the Lees Road Housing Estate are dealing with an effective rat run of speeding motorists going to and from John O’Sullivan Park on a daily basis.

Ennis Municipal District has pledged to design traffic calming measures on the entrance to the estate but says there are no provisions in its budget to acquire the lands needed to improve sightlines.
Local Fianna Fáil Councillor Antoinette Baker Bashua says it’s a perilous situation.
