Calls for ugent reform of the family court system will be heard this weekend as Ennis will host the ‘Walk in Our Shoes’ campaign.
This Sunday, a solidarity walk will take place between the Cathedral and Ennis Courthouse with participants carrying children’s shoes to represent the childhoods affected by family court decisions.

The campaign seeks greater clarity around the family court system, in particular change to the in-camera rule, to allow greater media access to remove perceived secrecy around these hearings.
Coordinator, Anna Kavanagh, says a similar move was recently made in the UK, to great success.
