Music will be in the air in Ennis tonight, as the first of this weekend’s two World Record attempts in the town get underway.

Love Live Music events are taking place across Clare and Ireland, including a large open air concert at the Abbey Street Car Park in the county town.
During this event, organisers are hopeful they’ll be able to gather together the world’s largest ever tin whistle ensemble, when people will be asked to play The Siege of Ennis.
1,016 people are required, and organiser Tracy Crawford says they are quietly confident.
