A bathing prohibition has been lifted at Ballyallia Lake.
Clare County Council has lifted the notice today following further investigative sampling and on the advice of the HSE.

The prohibition was introduced in September, due to the presence of an algal bloom.
Blue-green algae can produce harmful toxins that pose a risk to people and animals.
