The number of homes built in Clare increased by 17% from January to March.
New CSO figures shows the bulk of the activity was in the east of the county.
There were 152 new homes built in Clare between January and March of this year, marking a 17% increase on the same period of 2025.
The vast majority of the homes were part of housing estates, accounting for 93 units in total while there were also 59 one-off units constructed here.
57 of the homes were built in the Shannon Electoral area, with a further 50 delivered in the Killaloe LEA.
19 homes were built in North Clare, with 16 in the Ennis LEA and just 10 in Kilrush.
Nationally there were 7,856 new dwelling completion between January and March, a rise of 33% on the same three months of 2025 and the highest number of Q1 completions since records began in 2011.
