Nurses say University Hospital Limerick remains by far the busiest in the country, in the wake of the Bank Holiday weekend.
The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 118 admitted patients were left waiting for beds at the region’s main hospital this morning.

The figure was 48 more than the next busiest facility; Sligo University Hospital.
They were among 674 admitted patients waiting for beds at Irish Hospital this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
