St Joseph’s Spanish Point have reached the Munster Ladies Football Senior A Post Primary schools final for the first time in 29 years
The West Clare side beat Mercy Mounthawk of Tralee in their last four showdown this afternoon by 4-7 to 1-11.

It was the Kerry side in front at the break by 0-8 to 1-2, with Spanish Point having seen a number of goal chances go astray in the opening period; Ellie Hanrahan netted the one they did convert.
Emily Shannon, Micaela Sexton and Aoibheann Ryan all found the net for the Point after the break as they registered a historic win.
They will face either Midleton or Clonmel in the decider, with those two sides set to meet on Monday.
