Clare is under two separate status yellow weather alerts today.
A wind warning has been issued for the entire country until 6 o clock this evening, while a separate warning for rain is in effect for 21 counties, including Clare from 3pm.

Met Eireann says strong and gusty southwesterly winds could cause difficult travelling conditions, with displaced debris and fallen trees or branches.
Some lying snow is possible across higher ground, and there could be wintry showers of sleet or snow tomorrow.
