It’s understood Casey’s shoulder injury is not as bad as first feared, but is rated as 50/50 to be in a position to line out against Castres in Thomond Park on Saturday evening.

Coughlan is likely to be handed the starting jersey with Paddy Patterson also currently sidelined through injury.
