The manager of the Clare U-20 Hurlers is praising his side’s perseverance following a dramatic comeback victory in the Munster Championship last night.
The Banner scored 2-1 in injury time with Daniel Costelloe and Marco Cleary finding the net, to edge out Tipperary by a single point on a full-time score of 2-15 to 2-14 in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles.

The win effectively guarantees Clare a home-semi final ahead of next week’s final round group clash with Cork.
