A Clare General Election candidate insists inward investment is needed here as the county is being “done out of” adequate healthcare.
Gort-based stonemason Michael Loughrey has been confirmed as a candidate for the National Alliance, which is a union of the National Party, the Irish People and Ireland First.
Loughrey ran for the Irish People in the Ennistymon Local Electoral Area in the recent Local Elections, amassing 127 first preference votes which was the second-lowest in the area and the fourth-lowest countywide.
He says he intends to work with his team to establish a policy for improving healthcare in the county.
