Searches are continuing for a fisherman missing off the west Clare coast.
The man, believed to be Russian national living in Limerick, was fishing in the Pulleen Bay near Doonbeg yesterday morning when it’s understood he was washed from the rocks.
Gardaí and the Irish Coast Guard were alerted a major search for the man was launched.

The Shannon based search and rescue helicopter was sent to the scene while the Kilkee and Doolin units of the Coast Guard were also tasked, and were later joined by divers from the Kilkee Sub Aqua Club.
