Claire Bannon was raised at the foot of the 12 O’Clock Hills in East Clare.
She grew up around hurley making with her father John Torpey establishing a business in 1981. Claire would travel around in her dad’s van when he was delivering products.
Claire was also very creative growing up and won her first art competition at the age of 9.
After finishing school and living in Ennis for a time, Claire moved back home to Kilmurry where she and husband Shane set up Indigo in 2004.
Growing up, she always knew she wanted to have her own business.
