Linnalla Ice Cream is based in New Quay in north Clare close to the scenic Flaggy Shore and overlooking Galway Bay.
Bríd and Roger Fahy have been producing ice cream here with milk from their own shorthorn cows which can be seen grazing in the surrounding fields.
Bríd uses some of the milk and cream produced by the dairy herd to make ice cream which she serves in the Café Linnalla.
She spent many years supplying her ice cream to large supermarkets and smaller outlets but in more recent times, has concentrated on supplying the family café instead.
Bríd was born in the Meath Gaeltacht village of Baile Ghib. She worked as a nurse before deciding her daily commute to Galway was too much and set about starting her own business
