Mystery still surrounds the identity of Clare’s newest millionaire.
A ticket sold in Reddan’s Store in Sixmilebridge scooped the €1 million jackpot in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday night.
The rumour mill is in overdrive in Sixmilebridge this afternoon, as people try to figure out who their newest millionaire is.
Someone who bought a ticket in Reddan’s Store in the town has managed to win the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw – but so far, they haven’t come forward.
It’s not the first big win in the shop either – it’s almost exactly five years since a Clare family won €4.4 million in the main Lotto draw after buying their ticket there.
Shop owner Tony Reddan says excitement is brewing but nobody knows who the lucky winner is.
The numbers drawn were 16, 17, 27, 31, 32, 37, with the bonus number of 46.
Fran Whearty from National Lotto Headquarters says anyone who bought their ticket at Reddan’s should check their numbers carefully.
The winner will have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
