One of Clare’s key players is confident there is a strong balance of youth and experience in their squad ahead of the National Football League campaign.
Clare make the trip to Corrigan Park in Belfast on Sunday afternoon to take on Antrim in the opening game of the Division Three series.
Former captain Eoin Cleary and Keelan Sexton are among those expected to line out having returned to the squad this year, while new additions like Colm Walsh O’Loughlen and Darragh Burns could also feature.
Kildysart’s Emmet McMahon, who is beginning his sixth year on the panel, says there is a real depth of quality for new manager Peter Keane to pick from.
