Met Éireann has extended its weather warning for Clare and the rest of the country tomorrow, as Storm Dave approaches.
A yellow wind alert is now in place from 1 o’clock tomorrow afternoon until 2am on Sunday morning, extending its previous alert by four hours.

Storm Dave is expected to bring very strong winds, veering westerly by the evening, with severe gusts and coastal gales.
Possible impacts include some fallen trees and branches, wave overtopping, difficult traveling conditions and debris or loose object displaced.
