John Terry’s racist language towards Anton Ferdinand was used as an insult according to an independent Football Association panel.

The FA has published their written reasons for handing the Chelsea captain a four match ban.
The commission felt there was no credible basis for Terry’s defence that he was simply repeating the words.
He has until the 18th of October to appeal.
