Anthony Daly is set to escape punishment arising out of the unseemly incidents at last weekend’s Clare Minor Hurling Final.

The Irish Examiner reports that the current Dublin boss and former All Ireland winning captain is not mentioned in the match report submitted by referee Jim Hickey.
The game between Kilmaley and Clarecastle has come under the spotlight after photographs of an altercation involving members of both management camps emerged.
However, it’s now believed that Hickey has only noted the sides’ managers Niall Romer and Tom Howard in light of the game – both had been dismissed from the sideline.
