Both Clare’s minor hurling and football sides secured progression to the quarter final of the All Ireland Championship.

Clare scored three second half goals courtesy of Ben Talty and a brace from Gearóid Madden to see them past The Dubs.
Meanwhile the footballers also netted three times in their victory over Sligo.
A 3-11 to 0-19 win in Tubbercurry sees them into the quarter finals of the Tier 2 championship.
