There will be strong local interest in today’s Fitzgibbon cup semi-finals which are due to take place in W.I.T with Claremen involved in all four sides.
LIT have over half a dozen Clare players involved and are favourites for the competiton having knocked out holders NUIG in the last round.

They meet Ucc who are set to feature Darach Honan in their line up.
The other semi-final sees UL meet CIT with Brendan Bugler and Andrew Quinn in action for the Limerick college while Patrick O’Connor is set to line out for the Cork side.
