Clare Minors Claim All Ireland Final Spot After Conquering the Cats

The Clare Minor hurling team earned their spot in the All Ireland final after defeating Kilkenny with a score line of 0-23 to 0-15 in Thurles Semple Stadium.

Kilkenny’s Bill McDermott received an early red card for a heavy shoulder which left the team with an uphill battle against the Banner side.

An strong overall attacking performance by the team was rounded off by great marksmanship from James Hegarty and Mark O’Brien.

 

Brian O’Connell’s side will be in the county’s first national minor decider in 13 years. The final will take place on the 4th of June.

They will face the winners of Galway and Cork who play at 3pm today.
