Clare county board chairman Michael O Neil says the fact that Clare are playing Waterford in the Munster hurling championship wil add "extra bite" to the occasion next Summer.
Davy Fitzgerald will take on the side he led to the Munster crown in 2010 next summer following last evening’s championship draw.

The draw put Clare in their third munster semi final in a row and Michael O Neill told Clare fm the fact that the Banner are taking on the Deise will add to the occasion:
The county’s senior fotballers are also just 70 minutes away from a Munster final apperance with Limerick or Waterford to meet the abnner in the provincila semi final next sumer.
