Clare have booked their place in their first ever Division 1 National Camogie Final after a four point victory over three in a row chasing Cork in Kilmallock this afternoon.
Colm Honans charges let from the off, with a 0-02 to 0-00 lead until the rebels registered their first score after 14 minutes with a point.
The banner responded with a goal however, finished by Fiona Lafferty, a score that proved crucial throughout the remainder of the game.
At half time Clare led Cork 1-04 to 0-04.
The sides went point for point in the second half, but the first half goal kept the Clare side ahead and a Niki Kaiser free closed out scoring at 1-12 to 0-11.
Clare will now meet Kilkenny in the decider next Sunday in Thurles, in a national League double header with the hurlers clash of Tipperary and Kilkenny.
