Clare athletes are bringing home medals from the European Lifesaving Championships.
Leana Liddane secured gold in the board rescue team event along, while she joined with Lahinch’s Susan Meehan to take silver in the sprint relay.

Liddane is also taking home two individual silver medals for the Ocean swim and Iron events.
Ennis native Jude Collins also captured gold in the Junior Sprint relay, with 9 Clare competitors taking part in the championships in Poland.
Since winning a Junior World Gold medal in 2022, Liddane has since added 11 European medals to her collection across junior and senior grades.
