Carmody Urging Further Improvement After Opening Win Of National Camogie League

Clare camogie boss John Carmody says his side need to find more improvement if they are to build on their opening win of the National Camogie League.

Goals from Zi Yan Spillane, Caoimhe Cahill and Aine O’Loughlin helped Clare to a 19 point win over Westmeath to get their Division 1B campaign off to a strong start.

They now face a trip to Wexford next weekend, with the Leinster side losing out to Antrim in their opening game.

Carmody says while the result was pleasing, the overall performance is something they were not happy with.
