A high fire risk warning is in effect in Clare and the rest of the country.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has put a Condition Orange warning in response to current weather patterns and high temperatures.

The department says the warning is for “all areas where hazardous fuels such as dead grasses and shrub fuels such as heather and gorse exist”.
The alert is due to expire on Saturday at 6pm.
