On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Yeni Goryeva who is a Ukrainian artist living in Ennis that has previously studied at the Moscow University of Arts. She was accompanied by her daughter Anastasia Goryeva, who recently featured on the show speaking about Sunflowers VC volleyball club in Ennis.
Anastasia described the role Yeni played in their family and mentioned her life long dream to draw and work on pieces of art. Yeni spoke about her delight at receiving an opportunity to showcase her art upon arriving in Ireland. She made reference to the local artwork that she has produced and complimented the nature and landscapes of Ireland. Yeni has participated in numerous art exhibitions throughout the county and looks forward to what the future has in store regarding her art career in Ireland.
