It’s claimed people with disabilities in North Clare are living in the dark ages when it comes to public transport.
According to Census 2022, 7% of people in the Ennistymon Electoral Area are living with a disability to a great extent.
While 43% of people living in North Clare, claim to never use public transport, which is the lowest participation rate countywide.
