A retired Shannon businessman has brought the remarkable story of one of Ireland’s most influential inventors to life in a new publication.
John Barron, a former chemical metrologist and long-time collector, has written a book exploring the life and legacy of Harry Ferguson—from his early days as a pilot and racing enthusiast to his groundbreaking work in tractor and farm machinery design.
Barron, founder of Vintage Ferguson, has spent over 30 years researching and preserving Ferguson’s history, building one of Ireland’s most extensive private collections of Ferguson and Massey Ferguson equipment and memorabilia.
