Paschal Donohue Set To Visit Clare This Afternoon

On Monday’s Morning Focus, Pat was joined by Minister Pascal Donohue who is the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. The Public Expenditure Minister is set to visit Clare this afternoon to discuss opportunities on how this county can benefit from the off-shore energy industry. Pascal discussed key topical issues that are ongoing at the moment such as overcrowding issues in Irish hospitals, the end of the eviction ban and the problems many people will face as a result of this. He also expressed his concern over the current situation whereby 80 refugees are living in tented accommodation in knockalisheen at present. Pascal spoke about his desire for more rental accommodation to be put into place across the country and highlighted that the current housing situation should not be normalised.
