A group of hurricane hunters have landed at Shannon airport for the second time.
A high teach ‘hurricane hunter’ aircraft carrying a team of scientists and meteorologists arrived in Ireland late last month from Florida.

It’s the second year that the team has set up base at Shannon Airport.
From there, they will carry out vital research into weather patterns over the North Atlantic.
