On Wednesday’s Morning focus Alan Morrissey was joined by Mike Hanrahan a musician writer and chef to explain why his new song Craggy Hill might be his last.
Over four decades of musical writing Mike has brought us songs such as the legendary Stockton’s Wing, and as producer/writer with the equally legendary member of the Dubliners, Ronnie Drew.
Mike has also, in recent years, become a very successful professional cook of all things organic, while he also released his critically acclaimed memoir ‘Beautiful Affair, A Journey in music, food and friendship’.
In recent times, Mike has worked with his friend and producer Gavin Glass on the ‘Songs from the Box Room’ series. The latest and final song from the boxroom series is Craggy Hill.
