On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Paul Hally who is a volunteer pilot involved in the Kilrush initiative ‘Cycling Without Age Ireland’. ‘Cycling Without Age Ireland’ is an initiative for the elderly, immobile or those in care homes which assists them in getting out in the fresh and air and connecting with others. Paul outlined how the cycle works and as to why it will benefit the elderly. He urged anyone who is interested in becoming a volunteer to come forward and help out in a very worthwhile initiative.
More information regarding the cycle can be found on the ‘Cycling Without Age’ Facebook page, www.facebook.com/kilrushcyclingwithoutage
