A celebration of Irish traditional music, song and dance is coming to County Clare this September with Bí Liom Bí — a new live tour bringing together three exciting young artists at the forefront of the folk tradition.
The collaboration features Clare harpist, concertina player and composer Aisling Lyons, along with sean-nós dancer and singer Becky Ní Éallaithe, and uilleann piper and singer Muireann Ní Shé.
The trio will blend the richness of Ireland’s musical heritage with fresh creative ideas, including newly composed works, when they perform at Pot Duggans in Ennistymon.
Aisling Lyons joined Alan Morrissey to tell us more about the project.
