New Quay, Burrin, County Clare, on 19th May 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Bridie (née O’Dea). Predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine, his brothers John Francis and Jim, his sisters Marian, Eilish, Delia and Kathleen, and recently by his sister Imelda.
Michael will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Bridie, his sons Niall and Micheál, his daughters Anna Marie and Róisín, his grandchildren Nathan, Luke, Laura, Michael and Sienna, his daughters-in-law Maria and Yvonne, his brother Patrick, brothers-in-law PJ, John and Dave, sisters-in-law Dolly and Peggy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Michael will repose at St. Patrick’s Church, New Quay on Friday, 22nd May, from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday 23rd at 11am, followed by burial in The Killeen Cemetery.
